Quinceañera and horse

As you might know our Hispanic culture celebrates their daughter’s 15th birthday big.
This photo session could not be any different.

The minute my client said she wanted to take pictures of her daughter with a horse, it became a challenge for me, but also a fun task. I started asking people on facebook about a horse and sooner than later we found not only one, but two horses ready to be photographed. (Special thanks to Sarah and Christine for all their help).

At the beginning of the session I was really nervous from not knowing how the horses would react at the time of the photos. But getting to the farm early, talking to the owners, and getting to know the animals made me found a connection with them which made it very simple.

There are times when we must get out of our confront zone to grow, to be unique, and to learn from our surroundings. On this session I saw in me a love for animals I usually do not express, it might have something to do with their owners and the love they express towards them. One thing I know for sure is that I truly enjoyed it.

Thank you so much for this opportunity Mariana Vazquez.
